Charming ambiance and lovely decor throughout the hotel.

The parking situation was a nightmare, as it is located on a steep cobbled street. It felt very inconvenient to carry our luggage up and down. Also, the breakfast lacked variety. a cooked protein option would have made mornings much better.

What a delightful stay at Casa Das Obras! The charm of the 16th-century house completely captivated me. The large queen size bed in my Budget Double Room made for a restful night. Breakfast truly impressed, with delectable homemade cakes and local products. Dining in the beautiful breakfast area felt like stepping back in time. I loved the communal spaces, especially the billiard room and the peaceful garden with a swimming pool—perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking. Navigating the narrow streets to get there proved a bit challenging, especially with luggage, as it’s on a steep hill. It might help if they provided detailed directions.

Staying here was a treat! We loved the gorgeous antiques and comfortable common areas, perfect for relaxing after our hikes. The breakfast had an impressive range of local pastries and fresh fruits. We visited the nearby trails and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Definitely planning to return!

One downside was that parking was a hassle since the property is located on a steep hill, making it inconvenient to carry our luggage.
